Cassper Nyovest Thanks Minister Nathi Mthethwa For Honoring Him While he’s Still Alive. Many artists have voiced their concerns of why the industry only acknowledges the efforts of artist after they have died, which kind of loses the meaning of the act if they don’t get to bask in the glory.

Minister Nathi Mthethwa who is the head of Sports and Arts and Culture took to twitter to celebrate Cassper Nyovest for his courageous spirit including pushing the boundaries and becoming a role model with all the efforts and projects that he has launched during his career. He has undoubtably helped the progression of the arts industry in Mzansi.

“As we celebrate #YouthMonth today we honour the courageous spirit of young rappers & songwriters like @casspernyovest who broke boundaries & raised the bar by tenaciously organising #FillUpOrlandoStadium & #FilluUpFNBStadium supported by @SportArtsCulture” he said

The rapper has since responded to the the Ministers tweet thanking him for the acknowledgement while he is still alive which many haven’t gotten to experience as many are now deceased having been robbed off the opportunity.

“Thank you for giving me my flowers while i am alive Mr Minister” he responded.
