“Owning Masters is irrelevant,” Kid Tini States Why. Every big artist always highlight how advantageous it is to be an independent artist who owns his masters, but according to Kid Tini’s views owning masters can be be as good for others equally as it can be bad.

Cassper Nyovest has always made it clear to artists that they just thrive to own masters like he does, he often expresses how liberating it is to reap what you sow by yourself. After all, being signed to a label is an option most musicians don’t go for these days.

“This gone be a few SA rappers 10, 20 years from now. Fighting with majors to buy their masters back. After all the fame, the money, the glory, the radio number 1s! You will be left with nothing to show but plaques if you don’t get your business right from the get go,” said Mufasa.

The Ambitiouz Entertainment signed artist Kid Tin weighed in on the topic about masters and stressed that it is irreverent to own masters if you have no hits.

“Don’t let em play you kids. Here’s what they’re not telling you, in most cases, owning masters is irrelevant if you ain’t got no hits/big records,” stated Kid Tini.
