Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation Music Concert Reportedly Hits A Snag

Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation Music Concert Reportedly Hits A Snag. It’s typically a busy weekend on the first weekend of July in Durban, with numerous music concerts lined up. There’s always tremendous competition in ticket sales to ensure artists take advantage of one of the most popular weekends in Ethekwini.

Even though Durban is the warmest place to be mostly if you want to have a good time, that has not been the case for Big Zulu and his Inkabi Nation artists. The rapper had organised his music concert in the mix with other concerts such as Facts Durban Rocks and Cotton Fest.

Taking from the poster, the Inkabi Nation artists Lwa Ndlunkulu, Mduduzi Ncube, Siya Ntuli, and Xowla, were poised to perform along with Sjava and the Limpopo sensation Makhadzi.

Nkabi Nation we invite you to do this show in Durban this Sunday 2 July please let us all complete🙏🏿it will be at The Warehouse Durban📍let us meet there,” wrote Big Zulu on Instagram.

According to Zimoja, the Imali Eningi hitmaker’s music concert did not go down as planned as there was a low turn-up on ticket sales. “It was a busy weekend people were spoilt for options,” a source told Zimoja. “Durban crowd is hard to please, I don’t think they relate to the likes of Makhadzi as we do around Gauteng and Limpopo, they still love Gqom maybe if they had mixed artists.”

People in Ethekwin are said to organize their glam weekend around the Durban July, which is the area’s main event. Any musical event that falls in between won’t likely be successful for that reason. “People plan their lives around Durban July and pre-parties that are happening for the July weekend, not music concerts,” a source added as per Zimoja.
