Jub Jub Lands In Hot Water With BCCSA. As the face of the most controversial shows on Television lately Uyajola 9/9 Jub Jub and his team have been tended to by Broadcasting Complaints Commission Of South Africa based on the content of the show.

Ever since the show debuted people have been having their share of complaints but have never taken a bold initiative to send formal complaints until recently. The previous episode left many people angered as it showcased an abuse that wasn’t handled accordingly by the crew. To cut it short, a woman who caught her boyfriend cheating physically assaulted him.

BCCSA registrar Shouneez Martin confirmed to TshisaLIVE that the nature of the complaints were gender violence, violence and language. She said the BCCSA had sent broadcaster MultiChoice, which airs the Moja Love channel, these complaints and were awaiting a response.

“At this stage I can confirm that we have received complaints and that we will consider the complaints as soon as we receive MultiChoice’s response on the matter.”

Multi-choice confirmed to have received the letter and stated that it is in discussion with Moja Love in concern to the complaints put forward.

“MultiChoice can confirm that it has received a complaint from the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA (BCCSA), with regards to the recent episode of Uyajola 9/9, which aired on independent channel Moja Love on Saturday, 28 September 2019.

“Whilst we do not exercise editorial control over third party channels, which have fully independent editorial and content policies, we are in discussions with the channel about this particular complaint and will respond accordingly to the BCCSA.”
