Kanye West To Boycott Grammys

Kanye West threatened to boycott the grammys if Frank Ocean’s ‘Blond’ album is not nominated.

At his St Pablo Tour in Oakland, California this past Saturday, he went on a rant to say ‘the album that I’ve listened to the most this year is Frank Ocean’s album’, I’ll tell you this right now: if his album is not nominated in no categories, I’m not showing up to the grammys. As artists we’ve got to come together to fight the
bs!’.

As Billboard and reps for the Grammys report that, both Frank Ocean’s LP’s were not submitted for consideration for upcoming awards ceremony, therefore were disqualified.

Both albums were dropped in August and the deadline to submit for eligibility was September 30th. It might have been a mistake from Frank Ocean Camp or it might have been done on purpose, it’s not clear yet.

The show will go on though.
