Top 5 Most Memorable AKA Beef’s Of All Time
The top 5 most memorable AKA beef’s of all time is an interesting list. The rapper has to be one of the most controversial rappers to ever come out of SA Hip Hop and he is also one of the best rappers to ever come out as well.
There have been very few moments in AKA’s career where we can say he completely was not feuding with someone in the industry but not all his feuds are as important as the 5 we have compiled. Check out the Top 5 Most Memorable AKA Beefs Of All Time:
1. Cassper Nyovest
This has been the longest beef of them all and it still hasn’t been resolved. The beef erupted after both artists released singles from their 2014 albums and they both thought they had the hottest singles in the country i.e Doc Shebeleza and Congratulate the rest was history.
2. L-Tido
The beef between L-Tido and fellow South African hip hop artist AKA began in 2009 when AKA went onto social network Facebook to publicly disrespect L-Tido while commenting on a song which features fellow hip hop artists Da L.E.S & Bongani Fassie of Jozi and Maggz. This sent the South African hip hop scene into a buzz, as artists started to feud; radio stations and music sites couldn’t get enough, with both artists that were new to the hip hop scene were the topic of discussion all over the country.
3. Black Coffee
The beef between AKA and Black Coffee started after Black Coffee was overseas on tour and he saw some rappers he thought were dope and sent some tweets dissing some of the rap acts in Mzansi. The beef seems to have been squashed since AKA was heard shouting the legend out at one of his shows.
4. Anatii
The musicians fell out after they had just released their award winning collaboration ‘The Saga.’ From what they said on wax, AKA was pissed off because Anatii wanted to charge him for a beat after he had given him a free verse.
5. iFani
The beef between AKA and iFani started after iFani went Gold in a day and he claimed the sales were organic but it was clear that he has sold the copies to a brand. The Supa Mega was not shy to denounce the rapper’s claims which led to a fallout.
