Jay Z To Trademark Jaybo Character From The Story Of OJ Video! S. Carter Enterprises have filed trademark documents for the cartoon character from Jay Z’s single from his last album 4:44.

It looks like the rapper plans on making money off the character  by printing it on different products from  T-Shirts and sweaters to Dinnerware and mugs with a wide range of products. The track called The Story Of OJ was based on racism where he played Jaybo.

Although Jay-Z is  a successful entrepreneur, this seems like it would be hard to market because the song’s message. the songs association with the brand alone might affect the brands success.
