Nasty C Loses BET Hip Hop Award To UK Grime Rapper Stormzy. This year saw the 15th edition of the annual BET Hip Hop Awards and one of our own, award winning rapper Nasty C was up for an award.
The ceremony serves to honour the best in hip hop across 17 categories and the ZMWSP rapper was nominated for the “Best International Flow” and lost out to Iconic British rapper Stormzy.
The Bookoo Bucks hitmaker was nominated in the category against Kenyan artist Khaligraph Jones, the UK’s Stormzy and Ms Banks, French stars Meryl and Kaaris, and Djonga from Brazil.
This is not Nasty’c first rodeo as he has been nominated the previous in the same category against Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie. Other Rappers who walked away winners for the night include Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Drake, Pop Smoke and many more.
The awards premiered on October 28 2020 at 3am CAT.
