SA Rappers React To Yugen Blakrok’s Verse On Black Panther Album! SA Hip Hop artists reacted to Yugen Blakrok’s verse on Opps with Vince Staples positively. A number of rappers were very supportive of the rapper.
“I HATE how it took an American rapper, American Movie Soundtrack and the @billboard charts for SOUTH AFRICA to LOVE @YugenBlakrok,” tweeted Reason. The rapper said that only “Hip Hop heads” knew about her but the general public was unaware of her existence.
He went on to say that “The truth is… the most famous rapper in the game right now might arguably be the weakest. And the least famous of the bunch might arguably be the best artist in the country. However…”
Kwesta also spoke on the matter describing the joy the news that Yugen Blacks verse was considered to be the best in the album. “Her verse on Opps w/ @vincestaples off of @kendricklamar’s #BlackPantherTheAlbum, is the most outstanding rap performance on the record, according to @billboard.
