Jay Z Tops Forbes’ Wealthiest Hip Hop Acts! Forbes recently released their Wealthiest Hip Hop Acts of 2018 without much change in the top 5 but a few changes in positioning. For a while P Diddy had been on top of the list but this year Jay Z is the one sitting at the top.
Jay Z has increased his wealth from his networth last year which was $810 million to $900 million.The rapper has been able to increase his worth substantially through his different businesses especially because of the rising value of his Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Usse Cognac.
The Roc Nation boss has set himself on top of P Diddy who has upped his networth to $825 million from $820 million last year. Other rappers who made the top 5 were Dr Dre with a whooping $770 million, Eminem and Drake with a tie since both rappers are worth $100 million. Drake occupied the number 5 spot last year behind Birdman with $90 million.
