The two artists hold the biggest titles in SA Hip hop, from what they have achieved to their abilities to give fans the best music. Unfortunately they were entangled on a beef in 2018 which caused a strain leading to conclusions that they could never reconcile.
The beef involved Cassper reacting in a way Emtee seemed offensive towards his ‘genital’ predicament. Then escalated to Emtee dissing Cass on Instagram. There may not have been dissing tracks dropped but it was one tense conflict that divided fans.
After Emtee departed from Ambitiouz Entertainment he patched up a few relationships with fellow rappers. He started retweeting Mufasa’s tweets then performed on the #FillUpRoyalBafokeng 2019. They haven’t gone public with the peace they established amongst themselves but have been showing support to one another musically.
NowCassper wants to collaborate with the Hustla who dropped two lit singles last week Wave and Brand New Day. Cass himself dropped a new record Good For That. Seeing them topping the iTunes charts inspired a thought of collaborating.
“Me and Emtee repping SA hip hop on the top 10 chart right now. Maybe we need to link up and do whats best!!! Anybody wanna hear an Emtee and Cassper Nyovest record?,” asked Cass.
All we can do is wait for what the two can cook up to remind fans of what they’ve been missing out on.
