Kwesta On The Nelson Mandela Foundation Statement
Kwesta On The Nelson Mandela Foundation Statement! The Nelson Mandela Foundation recently approached the Equality Court to address the presence of the old South African flag which they regarded as hate speech in itself because of what it represents.
In Kwesta’s Spirit Music video, there is a scene were the flag is burning showing that the era is over. The foundation recently addressed the same matter to the Equality Court because the flag is still hoisted in South Africa although it represents a horrible time era in history.
The foundation released a statement on the matter publishing it on social media and Kwesta responded since it was in line with a message he was passing in his Spirit Music Video.
“The flag you saw burning in the #SpiritMusicVideo might finally get the same status as the Nazi flag… Should people be fined for celebrating the apartheid crime against humanity, by hoisting that flag even if it’s in your own home?,” tweeted Kwesta.
