J Cole’s ‘KOD’ Breaks Spotify And Apple Music Streaming Records! It seems like Hip Hop being the biggest genre in the entire world at the moment has allowed rappers to reach new heights. J Cole recently dropped an album titled KOD and is reported to have broken streaming records.
Apparently the rapper broke Apple Music’s 24 hour record gaining himself a total 64.5 million streams in one day. The rapper also earned himself a whooping 36.7 million streams on Spotify. The album broke it’s first day U.S album streams after it dropped surpassing Drakes record for Views with over a million streams on Apple music.
The opening track titled KOD also broke Spotify’s opening day record for streams in 24 hours. Although he has released the visuals for ATM and KOD is making a lot of noise, the outro is the one which is highly controversial were he addresses rappers like Lil Pump and other young artists who dissed him.
36,656,086 streams.
