Emtee Remembers Being Broke & Sleeping On An Empty Stomach! Emtee has become one of the biggest trap artists to ever come out of the South African Hip Hop industry dropping hit after hit.

The rapper spoke in an interview with Pearl Thusi were he was asked about the lowest moments in his life. “I remember one time I locked myself in my room for like a day or two. I didn’t have money, I didn’t have anything and I was just sitting there. I didn’t know what to think or how to feel or whatever, like what now?,” said Emtee.

The rapper went on to say “I had hunger pains, all those things were happening at that moment, I would just try to sleep, sometimes when I didn’t have food I’d just sleep that away, but at that time I just couldn’t sleep.”
