In an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag, Cassper expressed regrets that the two renowned rappers are unable to move past their rivalry since AKA is no more. “Of course now because he’s gone, of course, I’ve regrets but it was just in a moment, we were all in a moment,” Cassper said.

Cassper has mentioned many times that the only way he and AKA would settle their beef was through a boxing match which never came to fruition. This came after the rapper was asked whether the two could’ve called it a truce through music. “When you reflect on your guys’ history, did you ever think you guys could wrap it up with music together?”

In response, Cassper said; “I really thought it was you know we had to fight, I keep saying and I met his father and we joked about it and he said (“do you think if you guys fought do you think you would’ve won? I was like yeah I would have kicked his a**s”). That’s how I thought it was going to go. I thought after that would be able to be okay or make music.”

Cassper added that he and AKA have made music together but people have never heard it. “We actually do have music together people have never heard it. So those are like golden songs, we made a few records together,” Cassper added.
