Lil Wayne Speaks On His Near Death Experience! Lil Wayne has been one of the most influential voices in Hip Hop industry over the years and was awarded the award for I Am Hip Hop at this years BET Hip Hop awards.
Weezy first spoke on the matter on his latest album The Carter V in a song called Let It All Work Out. Whilst making his speech at the Hip Hop awards, Lil Wayne opened up on his near death experience as a young man after he had shot himself.
“There’s a man in New Orleans, his name is uncle Bob. He came into an apartment one day, guns drawn, he saw nobody, he saw legs on the floor, it was my legs, he saw blood everywhere. A bunch of police hopped over me, he refused to do so,” said Lil Wayne speaking on the matter and thanking the man who saved his life.
