Cassper Explains Why He’s Dropping Another Album And Details The Meaning Behind The Album Cover. After successfully dropping his 5th studio album Any Minute Now which he dedicated to his son baby Khotso, Cassper is ready to drop another project. He previously announced that his upcoming album will have a different feel to the others as he plans to take an amapiano route.

Cassper Shares How He Would've Felt Being Featured On Trompies' New Album

The Good For That hitmaker took to twitter recently to announce the official release date of his new album Sweet And Short 2.0 and to drop the unique album cover for the project. The album is set to drop on the 30th of June 2021 and he has already released the lead single for it titled Siyamthanda featuring Boohle and Abidoza.

A fan commented underneath Cassper’s post asking why he was releasing another album 8 months after his Any Minute Now release. Cassper justified the release by saying he is expressing himself however he wants too and that he has no one on his back telling him he can’t release another album.

Expressing myself however I want to, whenever I want to cause I’m a boss and I can do whatever I want to. No exec telling me to wait a bit cause the other album is still doing well. That’s enough reason.” He wrote.

Another tweep asked the platinum selling rapper what the inspiration for the album cover was, to which Cassper explained in detail. He mentioned that certain things on the cover symbolize certain things.

His response read, “Too many symbols. 1 of the them being that it was written in stone. There’s a ladder on my beard which tells the level I’m at and how long it’ll take niggas to reach my status. Read the rest for yours. Don’t wanna mess up the art.

Cassper has been working with Amapiano prouducer Abidoza on the project, and has already dropped two singles already. Ama Number Ayi’10 and Angisho Guys.
