Kwesta On Sjava, Saudi & Yugen’s Assists On A Grammy Nominated Album! Earlier this year when the Black Panther soundtrack album was made, it changed a lot for the SA Hip Hop industry.

The album featured four South African artists with three of them being Hip Hop acts. It became the first Billboard chart topping album which featured South African Hip Hop artists and Saudi became the first rapper to chart on the Billboard charts for a single on the project. Black Panther The Album has now been nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the year.

Kwesta went on Twitter to congratulated the rappers featured on the album for taking SA Hip Hop to the Grammy’s. “S/O to @YugenBlakrok  @Sjava_ATM & @Saudi_rsa for taking SA Hip Hop to the Grammy’s… This is no big feat for Gospel or World Music acts but this is really one of SA Hip Hop’s greatest achievements. @kendricklamar has no idea what he’s done for us & the culture @NathiMthethwaSA,” tweeted Kwesta.
