4. Rouge
Rouge has had a rather great year in Hip Hop. The rapper has bagged a number of endorsement deals with Levi’s and Southern Comfort and a presenting gig for the SABC 1 show The Remix.

5. Nadia Nakai
Nadia Nakai only dropped one single this year but has been able to stay relevant with her major moves in the corporate world. The rapper bagged herself a deal with Castle Lite which sees the rapper hit South Africans screens advertising the brand. She was also able to get her own fashion line with Redbat which has been selling fast. She also went on the MTV EMA red carpet where she interviewed international artists.
