Yanga Recalls When AKA Told Kwesta He Wanted To Reach His Level! Yanga has been in the game for a rather long time now but has worked behind the scenes for longer than most realise.
The rapper first got into the SA Hip Hop industry whilst working for Slikour’s online magazine called Ventilation. This is were the rapper got most of his experience of the music industry and got introduced to most of the rappers in the game today.
Whilst working there, he got the chance to create a rather strong bond with Kwesta who he helped with his music career at the time. According to Slikour, there was a bit of a rivalry between AKA and Kwesta when they were still growing their careers.
Whilst in the Slikour On Life interview, Yanga then went on to reminisce about a time when AKA told Kwesta that he just wanted to be as big as he is in South Africa. “There was a point were Kiernan said to Senzo that, ‘Dawg, I just want to be one day as big as you are,'” said Yanga quoting AKA.
