Could A Possible Shane Eagle And Bas Collaboration Be On Its Way? Shane Eagle, who earlier on in his career was frequently referred to as the “J Cole of South Africa”, recently had somewhat of a full circle moment when getting the chance to be a supporting act for the South African dates of Dreamville rapper Bas’ “Milky Way Tour”.
This had many fans wondering if a possible collaboration could arise from this major interaction between the two artists.
Shane recently share pictures onto his Instagram page of him and Bas engaging one another in a studio environment, with one snap even capturing Bas in the booth while Shane looks on. Is this a teaser for a possible collaboration on the way?
South African Hip Hop fans will surely be crossing fingers that it is indeed a collaboration, as the local game as progressed to a level whereby major international artists collaborate fluidly with local artists, a la Kwesta-Wale for summer smash “Spirit”. There is no doubt that if Shane and Bas were to collaborate, the result would no doubt be a rap purist’s dream, therefore, we cross our fingers for this collaboration to happen!
