Watch! Blxckie’s Reaction To Being On The Front Cover Of A Major Newspaper! Rapper Blxckie is currently hot property on the hip hop streets, not only is he working with the hottest rappers in South Ah but he is also being featured on the pages of iconic publications. The Durban rapper has shared his excitement after he appeared in the popular newspaper, Sunday Times.

An excited, Blxckie shared on social media, a clip of him and the newspaper letting know that “the whole entire” Blxckie is in the paper. Blxckie’s story to stardom is one that shows what happens through hard work and how when it is your time. During, the first half of lockdown 2020, Blxckie used his time stuck in Johannesburg to record and release music, the rapper even dropped his debut album, B4Now and since then all eyes have been on him.

Not only is Blxckie making the news for his stellar work, but he is also bagging collaborations. Blxckie is currently featured on Tshego’s EP, 3 Piece on the track New. The feature is a full-circle moment for Blxckie as a few years back, he messaged Tshego on Facebook, giving him props and now they have worked together. Riky Rick also has given the young rapper his due credit, even asking for him to do adlibs on his album.

The rapper has even received a shout out from award-winning rapper AKA. In a video clip, shared on AKA’s story on Instagram, the Jika hitmaker can be seen jamming to Blxckie’s music. Fans have called for a collaboration between the two artists, as to whether the collaboration will happen, only time will tell. The rising star has also recorded a track with American rapper, Vic Mensa. The track was recorded during Vic Mensa’s time in South Ah. Blxckie when asked by MacG about what would the collaboration be about was cagey and simply said, “You’ll see”. He has also collaborated with Costa Titch and Phantom Steeze on the track Uthini.

Blxckie’s star is set to continue, shining and with the number of features under his belt rising, it is certain that more good things are in store for the rapper. After being recognised as the new Africa Rising Artist, Blxckie shared with Apple Music that he wants people who believed in him B4Now to be proud and he is certainly making them proud. For me and my music to be chosen as a significant role player in this story is history in the making for someone like me. I want those that have believed in me B4Now to be proud.
