21 Savage, Fat Joe & Meek Join Forces To Help Rapper Get Off Jail

According to New York Times publication rappers 21 Savage, Meek Mill, Killer Mike, Yo Gotti, Chance The Rapper, Fat Joe, and Styles P have decided to join forces into helping rapper Mayhem Mal get released from jail after he was arrested over 3 years ago for his ‘Fuck The Police” song.

The song had lyrics that were about inflicting violence towards the police and that had the police take him into custody under First Amendment rights.

“While famous rappers like Eminem win Grammy Awards and make millions off the violent imagery in their songs, judges and juries are routinely convinced that lesser-known rap artists are somehow living out their lyrics as rhymed autobiography,” said Knox’s lawyer, R. Stanton Jones. “It’s an alarming trend, often with devastating consequences for the young men of color who are almost always targeted in these cases.”

The famous rappers are currently attempting to convince the Supreme Court to revisit the controversial case.
