Moozlie Shares Her Favourite Moments From The Cash Time Era. Moozlie launched her rap career with Cash Time in 2015. Ever since she has grown to be a darling not only in SA Hip-hop but in the South African entertainment industry as a whole.
The rapper and media personality might have departed K.O‘s Cash Time after the two parties were no longer sharing the same vision, but Mabhena has some positive takeaways from her experience with the group.
In an interview on Sobering Podcast, Moozlie shared some of her favourite moments during the Cash Time era. The famed rapper said that she had a wonderful time at Cash Time and she wouldn’t trade those moments for anything in the world.
“I think just like the camaraderie and the dust because that’s like been non-stop, it was a cultural phenomenon,” she said. “You kind of had to be there and even if sometimes you’ll be just at the robot and see like a guy walking past in the bootleg Cash Time and you will be just like…”
“Cash Time was really crazy and people won’t even know the amount of work that went behind that. When we took the tracksuits, I was the Skhanda Queen driving the van to Pretoria to go drop the tracksuits. Ma-E DoesIt was running that whole thing but people won’t see it like that, they just think you guys are cool. We were using our hands our sweat and our blood to make that thing happen,” said Moozlie. “It was the time, I love it I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Addressing what broke down her relationship with Cash Time, Moozlie said; “there was no contract which in retrospect was a blessing in disguise and I think that’s why I actually can thank KO because he wasn’t selfish,” she said.
