Ice Cube & BIG3 Win $21 Million Lawsuit Case Against Champion Basketball League
Back in 2017 Ice Cube and Big 3 laid charges of defamation against Champion Basketball League which they recently won and gained $21 Million from.
CBL filed a $250 million lawsuit alleging BIG3 of stole their proprietary ideas. On it’s defense BIG3’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, filed court documents claiming CBL posted false accusations on its website.
“The issue is that Big3 violated the agreement that players would be able to play in both leagues even though all the players had prior agreements with the Champions League,” they wrote.
The BIG3 league said that the head of the CBL is “a serial con-artist, fraudster and ponzi-schemer.”
Since 2017 the case has been ongoing and the verdict ruled in favour of Big 3. BIG3’s attorney Greg Kirakosian will file the paperwork necessary for the court to make the judgement official.
