Uncle Vinny Recalls How He “Rebelliously” Bagged His First Radio Interview With Cassper. Securing an interview with a high-profile celebrity can be a daunting task considering that famous people are always jam-packed with busy schedules.

But nothing could stop a young Uncle Vinny from overcoming all obstacles in order to secure a radio interview with Cassper Nyovest. Speaking during an interview on Podcast And Chill with MacG and Sol Phenduka, Uncle Vinny recalled how he managed to secure a radio interview with Cassper when he was 15 years old.

Despite all the hassles he went through to gain hold of the rapper, the rapper and amapiano sensation said that the radio station could not allow him to conduct the interview with Cass. “The radio station kinda did me dirty, they got an old lady to do the interview, they say I’m not too fit to do the interview. Then I said f*ck y’all n*ggas then I left the radio station and started doing my own things,” he said.

Expressing how he felt for not being allowed to do the interview with Cass, Uncle Vinny recalled the event leading to Cassper accepting to do the interview on a community radio station. “I was the one that went to Nyovest, I was the one who got the number, I was the one going fish for the fish and if Nyovest didn’t see me that whole interview would have never happened.”

Explaining how he managed to get hold of Nyovest, Uncle Vinny said; “everybody was just crying about the interview and I was the one that actually went on stage. How brave am I at 15, I go on stage, I got grab Cassper and tell him, I say yo I want an interview now.”

“I grabbed him and told him, I said yo I’m not gonna leave you,” he said. Responding to how he passed through the security, Uncle Vinny said, “I didn’t give a f*ck, I don’t think you understand how rebellious I was bro, these events all the security companies know me, for real that’s how crazy how I was.”

Despite being told that he was young, Uncle Vinny claimed that he made it plain to Cass that he was pushing his hustle and wanted the seasoned rapper’s assistance. At that point, Cassper agreed to participate in the interview.

“So I went to Cass and Cass was like yo dawg you’re so young and I’m just like yo I’m pushing my sh*t you gotta help me, you like it or not. And then he did and then happened that year also I just met Riky and everything just became full circle.” He said.
