“Hip Hop Needs Saving” – Rouge

It seems Hip Hop is in deep trouble and needs some saving according to rapper Rouge.

Taking to twitter to share her views on the state of Hip Hop, Rouge expressed how there are now less collaborations meaning that there’s now segregation in Hip Hop which needs to be fixed.

“Hiphop needs saving hey …. We all need to reflect and come back cause its a desert out here. . We barely even feature with one another these days or is it just me, somethings up…. Yea, It’s time to drop.” she wrote.

Hip Hop musicians have all kinds of thoughts to share about SA Hip Hop and it seems that they are not entirely happy with the condition that it’s in. Earlier on Cassper Nyovest shared how there’s so much hate in Hip Hop.

“South African Hip Hop has sooo much hate. Dawg, My success is your success, your success is my success!! We are Hip Hop!! Why does it have to be like this? I don’t understand…I remember the days we used to celebrate that a hip hop artist won best male…Now it’s dark.” wrote Cassper.
