Tshego has dedicated himself to refining his artistry, meticulously crafting his distinct sound. Infused with influences from his environment and life journey, his music seamlessly fuses hip-hop, and R&B, forging a singular sonic identity that captivates listeners.

Recently, the Pink Panther hitmaker announced the release of his new single ‘Your Name’ featuring music producer, Slick Widit. In his latest track, Tshego explores matters of the heart, serenading his audience with lyrics that express his determination to intimately understand his romantic interest.

However, Tshego‘s latest track has garnered significant attention from the majority of his followers, quickly gaining momentum on music streaming platforms. Taking to Instagram, the renowned rapper shared that his current triumphs stem from his journey as an independent artist, emphasizing that the achievements he’s attained with his latest single wouldn’t have been possible within the confines of a record label.

“In case you don’t understand the point. Literally, by every single metric, I’m doing better alone than what was done for me at a label. These are facts. So next time you want to complain about who’s not doing what for you dont,” Tshego said in a candid post.

Previously, Tshego has been vocal about his ambitious nature, expressing a strong desire to oversee and direct his musical endeavours. The rapper has disclosed his aspiration to independently manage his brand, envisioning a future where he’s solely responsible for his artistic direction. The rapper’s sentiments came at a time when he wa contemplating on leaving Universal Music and becoming an Independent artist.

“I wanted to control when I drop,” he said. “I wanted to control whether I get PR or marketing and how much I spend on this. I finally wanted someone to point a finger at. I wanted someone I can wake up in the morning and know that I can call that person ask them why hasn’t this been done. I wanted to actually like, ‘okay, it’s time to move, I need to hit these marks,’ but I needed people to be accountable to hit these marks. I can’t hit these marks alone.” He told Sobering Podcast.
