The 1st of May was an exciting day for most of the musicians who walked away with awards at the Billboard Music Awards, rapper Drake being one of them.
Aubrey Graham famously known by his middle name Drake evoked all kinds of emotions from fans when he walked away with 12 awards at the BBMA’s. Ever since the rapper who also owns titles of being a singer, songwriter, actor & producer broke in the industry he has been winning at all times with his music topping charts and earning him countless awards.
The Canadian rapper made history once more when he scooped awards which made a total of 27 Billboard Awards to his name. During his speech he said: “No matter how long it took me to figure out what I wanted to do, you were always there to give me a ride and now we’re all on one hell of a ride.”
He won in the categories of Top Male Artist, Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Radio Song Artist, Top Streaming Songs ( Video) , Top Rap Album and Top 200 Billboard Album.
