Not only have the late rappers taken SA Hip hop to the top, but they lived to up inspiration to the current generation of SA rappers right now. Emtee is one of the rappers who have admitted that they have looked up to the OGs of the game.

Taking to Twitter, Emtee expressed his pain as he revealed that he wanted to collaborate with the late Pro Kid. The rapper shared a snippet of Pro Kid‘s music video for Uthini ‘Ngo Pro’ with a caption; “All I ever wanted was a feature from my favourite rapper,” 💔😢 tweeted Emtee.

Emtee has always expressed how much he loved and respected Pro Kid. The Roll Up hitmaker even mentioned that his dream came true when he met the late veteran rapper in his song Dreams. “Met PRO just the other day, and my dream came true, watchu wanna say?” raps Emtee.

Even though he could not work with Pro Kid, Emtee managed to have the opportunity to work with the young brother of the veteran rapper DJ Citi Lyts. The two worked together on quite a number of hit songs that include; Washa and Malambane.
