This past weekend SundayWorld reported that Jabulani Tsambo famously known as HHP didn’t leave anything behind for his customary wife Lerato Sengadi. The reports stated that the rapper left his multi-million rand estate to his son Leano.
The Tsambo family spokesperson Nkululeko Ncana confirmed that HHP left everything for Leano.
“I can confirm that Jabulani has bestowed everything to Leano,” he said.
The battle between Lerato and HHP’s family bagan around his passing. The family denied her as their makoti and Sengadi took them to court to indterdict them from burying HHP.
According to the paper the news that HHP excluded Sengadi from the will was revealed by a well-known record company executive, who did not want to be named for fear of reprisal.
The executive said that the will includes HHP’s multimillion-rand house, image rights, a multimillion-rand music catalogue and royalties from his television and radio stations.
“The battle between Lerato [Sengadi] and the family is not only about whether or not she is the customary wife, it is about the estate as well. If Lerato wins this case at the Supreme Court of Appeal, she is, according to the law, entitled to 50% of his estate,” said the executive.
When asked about the news Lerato said she had no comment on the matter. “I have no comment on the matter, really I have nothing to say,” she said.
