Tupac’s Prison ID To Be Auctioned For Over R28 000

It has been over two decades since the abrupt death of activist and rapper Tupac Shakur who left a vivid mark in the world. The rapper’s impact in the Hip hop space is still well celebrated.

Pac’s name is kept alive on all kinds of ways, his music is still popular on radio and on the internet, in fact a large number of modern rappers look up to Tupac and consider the best thing to ever happen in music for his sensational music.

According to latest a report by VLAD TV the rapper’s ID photo taken back in 1995 will be up for auction with a bidding starting at $2000 (28 475,10). The picture was taken at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York where he served a year and a half sentence after being convicted of first-degree sexual assault.

The prison I.D. has been obtained by Heritage Auctions which aims to auction off the card beginning on July 1.
