WATCH: AKA Praises Cassper’s Achievements
During AKA’s visit on Behind The Story last week he opened up about a variety of things including his beef with fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest which has been live for years.
Pearl Thusi who is the presenter of the show asked AKA about Cassper and he responded by saying that he respects his hustle but hates being constantly compared to him, he also added that he is a much better musician than him.
“I just wanna pay him no mind, I just hate the fact that my name is always next to his. I mean I’m a proper musician like I’m a proper artist, I’m like a real festival proper muso. So for me it just muddies my water a little bit to be always named in that.
“I respect his business achievements, his stadium shows and all that stuff, those are huge accomplishments, as a musician I don’t think there’s anyone who could ever come close to him.”
Last week Cassper made it clear that he will never get along with AKA because he disrespected his mother, amongst many things that happened.
“That guy swore at my mom. I will never ever get over that sh*t. That’s my queen, my everything. That’s not music or competition. That’s the utmost disrespect. Me and him are done for life,” Cassper said.
