Why Cassper Backed Down On His Debate With Zakes Bantwini About SA Music. In most cases when artists go back and forth on social media debating a certain topic it is usually depicted as a twar,even when it’s not.

Cassper raised a string of points about SA Hip hop and dedicating 2020 to the genre. Zakes Bantwini stated that he mustn’t be genre-based and talk about SA music as a whole if he wants unity.

“2020 for SA Music if you want unity in the industry, we must stop being genre based if we want to push SA Music to the level where Nigeriand are you must think SA Music industry then genre movement, period” wrote Zakes.

Cassper responded by stating that he sees nothing wrong with protesting for SA Hip hop and that he is not in the mood to debate further about the topic, suggested that Bantwini must call if he wants to discuss the matter instead.

“Nigeria has all the genres we have but they push Afrobeats. What’s wrong with me riding for SA Hip Hop cause it got me here? I have supported every genre in SA. Come on big bro.

He continued on to explain why he will no longer engage on public debates. “I hate these back and forths on Twitter, rather call me if you wanna discuss this.”

Zakes agreed to give Cass a call. While most expected beef none came about instead love.
