YoungstaCPT Gatvol Over People Underestimating Kaapstad, Here’s Why. YoungstaCPT has expressed great anger over a tweep who “disrespected” his home town.
The Old Kaapie hitmaker is known as one of the proud members from Cape Town, in fact he is regarded as an activist and has made it clear even in music that he’s all about giving shine to coloured people from Cape Town. Recently a tweep tweeted a cap known as one of the things Cape townians pride themselves of and stated that only Khuli Chana and Maps Maponyane rock it better.
“Only KhuliChana and Maps can rock these without looking like idiots,” wrote the tweep. “Y’all ever heard of District 6? Or Bo-Kaap? Or the Cape Malay Choir? Stop onderskatting Kaapstad!!!,” responded YoungstaCPT.
On his last interview with Slikour the rapper highlighted his reasons of serving as the pride and joy of the place in terms of the music industry, even so he had to move from Cape Town to settle in Johannesburg where his music has been flourishing best.
“In Cape Town i was starting to get tired, i was starting to get frustrated not seeing the results and not seeing some sort of a finish line and a goal. When i came to JHB i was here for like 3 months and i could already see some sort of a difference, already see some sort of change,” said the Yaatie rapper.
The 3T mastermind might have moved but he still is passionate about his home town.
