‘I’ve Never Charged For A Feature,’ Says AKA! AKA is an artist who has been in the game for a long time now. The rapper has collaborated with a number veterans and up and coming artists in the game over the years.
In recent times we have seen artists get bashed on social media for charging really high amounts for features in the SA Hip Hop industry. According to AKA, he has never charged for a feature in his entire music career which has spanned for over 10 years now. The rapper was asked what he’d tell new artists to help them gain popularity.
“I’ve tried to help you know interms of like, Iv’e never charged anybody for a feature, ever. Iv’e never charged anybody for a feature, how crazy is that in ten years right,” said AKA. He went on to mention the up and coming artists he featured like Dreamteam and Emtee in their early stages.
