Rick Ross Claims 50 Cents Is No Longer A Talented Rapper & Would Not Feature Him, Fifty Responds. Rick Ross has recently claimed that 50 Cent isn’t as much of a good rapper he once was as the reason for not collaborating with him “again”.

Once upon a time the two rappers were riding the biggest waves in the US hip hop scene but in time they both had minor setbacks. Now Rick Ross is back in the tip of the spotlight, and feels 50 wouldn’t be the best pick for a collaboration.

“Honestly, I’m a businessman. If 50 Cent still had value, I may have been done it, but not being funny. Not no no…he ain’t that dude no more, said Ross.

He added, “We was ridin’ through L.A. smokin’ to “Hate It or Love It” yesterday…that sh*t was dope. Salute to Cool & Dre, that’s Miami who did the production. Game, 50 Cent, that was dope. If he was still making music like that, of course. One of my dogs could hit me, Drake could hit me,” Ross continued. “And say Rozay, I got 50 on the record. If he was still dope like he was eight years ago, Rozay’ll lace that ’cause I’m on fire. It don’t matter who on the record.”

Speaking to Complex magazine, 50 said that he doesn’t know any value Ross claims to have in music and added that he never made music with him.

“I don’t know what his value is to music culture at this moment. I never made music with him. I don’t have interest in making music with him…A lot of these guys, even when you make reference to music culture and stuff like that, they’re one-trick ponies, so they’re going to be gone. In hip hop, they say it’s not what have you done, what have you done for me lately, right? So you could get next to the guys that got momentum and try and survive based on that. But, it’s not a lot going on there,” said 50.
