“What SA hip hop lacks is relatability,” Complains Flex Rabanyan

“What SA hip hop lacks is relatability,” Complains Flex Rabanyan. Flex Rabanyan isn’t happy with the way South African Hip hop is operating and has taken it upon himself to express his views.

The rapper who identifies as a web designer and an independent artist has been absent from the musical side of Hip hop side for a while. He claimed he was flat broke few months back and attempted to sell his car. As an independent artist, one can only assume being financially tied delayed him from releasing new music.

Now the rapper has made it clear that he feels the reason why music isn’t reaching its highest peak in the Hip hop industry is because there is no relatability. “What SA hip hop lacks is relatability. Which at its peak, was the key power,” he wrote.

While at that Flex revisited his 2014 debut album complimenting just how it is a super masterpiece. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get over it. G O D L Y was my favourite since 2014, now it’s her.”
