Chance The Rapper Chimes Into Nicki Minaj-Cardi B Beef & States Why It Escalated. Chance The Rapper has become the latest rapper to share sentiments regarding the beef between two of the most talented US female rappers Nicki & Cardi B.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B seemed to have nothing against each other at first but back in October 2018 the rappers almost beat each other up at the BET Awards. The beef involved bashing with each of the artist revealing what was unknown about the other and making claims which led most to an assumption that it was competition.
Chance The Rapper stated that the beef between both artists was “curated”.
“A lot of that stuff is produced,” said Chance. “Everything is curated before we get to see it. Like all the information, the way they phrase it to us, the way that, you know, they pit people against [each other]… It’s made for you to, like, accept in a certain way. So like, a lot of people had to choose a side.”
He added, “I don’t want to speak for them at all but, like, to a certain extent, they got pushed into that too. And I don’t think all of that was a 100% their feelings.”
In the end, the ladies made it clear they will never be friends and that they were tired of the back and forth internet squabble.
“I’m tired of talking about it too,” Cardi said. “I’m tired of the fucking whole internet shit, I’m tired of the interview shit. If you really wanna talk about it, you know where to link me. … We can talk about it, or we can fight it out. I’m with whatever,” said Cardi.
