The rapper has expressed his love for music and he has been working his way up to be amongst the best in the game. In an interview with AMP Studios, Big Xhosa was asked whether he would quit music for R200K a month.

The rapper’s response clearly indicated that he would consider taking the money but his love for music made him give a different response. “Yes, Im capping, no f*king way, R200K and I would leave music, no way bro,” he said.

The rapper recently expressed gratitude to everyone who has been supporting his art after his Ninyile music video reached 1 Million Youtube Views. “LOL this is my first ever video to hit 1 Million Views. This right here changed my life… I want to thank you guys for the support and also thank me for giving myself an opportunity no one would have,” he wrote.

Even though he has made a name for himself, Big Xhosa said that there are other SA rappers who have inspired him to rap and one of them is the late rapper AKA. “There was a song released by DJ Vigilante and AKA and K.O. called God’s Will. What I did is I studied AKA’s verse, and I practised AKA’s verse that’s how I got into rapping through an AKA verse. Then from there, I went to the studio, and the hommies said I must freestyle, I freestyle that AKA verse, I told them it’s my verse, and they told you are lying, we know that verse. So that’s how it came about,” he said.
