Why Emtee Decided To Put A Pause On His Music Career To Focus On ATM. Leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment for Emtee was partly because he wasn’t getting enough freedom to move around as he pleased.

Now that the Manando rapper has the freedom, he is focused on making music how he aspires as an independent artist. His other focus is on his company African Trap Music.

Speaking to Slikour he highlighted that he is working so hard to build his business up. He mentioned how he wants to grow and expand.

“During the time when a lot was being said about me, I tried to ignore what was going on and tried to focus on my gang for the time being. As it is my business, I want to get it up and running.”

He continued on to speak about the what he meant when he said #FreeEmtee.

“I wanted freedom. To be Independent and be away from controversy and having my name cleared from the tag of villainy. I felt i was trapped with the not so good things happening in the label. Didn’t want pressure to gain the love but wanted to do things in my own terms in my career, be with my family without controversy.
