“You’re disrespecting my blood, sweat and tears,” K.O On People Downloading His Music On Shady Sites. It is every artist’s nightmare to have the music they worked so hard to make become available for free downloads on certain online sites.
At times it’s beyond a musician’s control to have these sites take down the music. It is a battle every singer is bound to face.
K.O dropped his highly anticipated album last week Friday titled PTYunLTD. The album was received well by a number of fans. While fans were busy hailing the album for being dope, by showing off screenshots proving they’ve downloaded it. Others shared screenshots showing that they downloaded the music on shady sites online.
It was then K.O expressed how he feels disrespected by people who download his music on unacceptable sites online.
“Youre disrespecting my blood, sweat and tears with this screenshot, yet you say you dig the album,” he wrote.
One tweep reacted by stating that artists need to educate fans about legitimate sites and how to fairly and legally obtain the music.
“Sometimes it’s better y’all teach these people the right way of downloading the music than just lashing out on them… We respect your hardwork, just that some are not knowledgeable enough. my two cents.”
