AKA Apologizes To Namibia Following His Pop Up Fest Performance

AKA Apologizes To Namibia Following His Pop Up Fest Performance! AKA has been a dominant force in the SA Hip Hop industry for over 10 years now.

One of the major reasons for the rapper’s success is accredited to his performances which he puts a lot of work into. He is rumoured to be the countries highest paid performer due to his Live band performances.

He recently performed in Namibia after a rather long time at the Pop Up Fest on Namibia’s Independence day. The rapper went on Instagram to share pictures from the performance and took the chance to share a brief history about the last time he was there.

” The last time I went to Windhoek to perform I sat at the airport for like 30mins and performed for 100 people lol,” read AKA’s caption reminiscing about his last visit to the country.

He then went on to apologize for having problems with the sound taking all the blame upon himself for it.

I want to Thank the fans, fam and organizers in Namibia ?? this past weekend for one of the most well organized events I’ve ever done. The crowd was lit and the vibes were 1000% IN ✅ The last time I went to Windhoek to perform I sat at the airport for like 30mins and performed for 100 people lol … It was amazing to see what #PopUpFest is doing for the culture in the city and for the young people to come out in numbers like that to rage with me was epic. I feel like I owe you an apology for the sound issues as it was not the promoter or the organizers, it was actually on my side. The show was lit as usual and we were jamming our hearts out ❤️ until the technical issues started. Still, I ultimately have to take responsibility for a member of my team. Thank You for a sick sick show … I can’t wait to come back and do it proper proper. I always strive for perfection, and that’s what got me this far. Once again, a huge big up to #PopUpFest ❤️ I’ll see you soon.
