Zan took to social media to spread the word of how he is in need of skillful DJs of both genders to work with. The beautiful side of his search is that it has no deadline.
“I am searching for a young, new hip hop Dj that is skillful, clean and has new ideas. Someone that is world class,” he wrote.
The DJ further raised points of why he has taken it upon himself to search for such talent. He highlighted how the SA Music industry needs fresh talent.
“The SA music industry needs this and I’m willing to help that dude/girl. There’s too many Djs just playing mashups. A lot of the mashups are not even on key. SA Hip Hop Djs can do more that just Acapellas and mashups. We need something new,” he adds.

- if all you do is just play mashups, don’t bother
- if you mix well but don’t have skills, don’t bother
- Don’t send me mixes you’ve done on Mixmeister or any other similar software, I won’t fool me,” he wrote.
