Here's How AKA Revolutionised Endorsement Deals For Local Celebrities
Here’s How Much AKA’s Limited Edition Sneakers With Reebok Will Cost! Supa Mega has never been shy to push the boundaries of what he can do.
The rapper has redefined the levels at which artists in South Africa can reach for when it comes to endorsement deals. From local clothing brands, to headphones and alcohol, the rapper has always pushed for deals which allow him to have his brand on the forefront.
The rapper signed a deal with Rocka a few years back which allowed him to collaborate with them on headphones which are still selling in stores now with the rappers face and name on the packaging. He then went on to cement his place as the one who raised the bar for endorsement deals with his collaboration with Cruz Vodka.
The rapper pushed for a deal which allowed him to work on his own signature flavor with the international alcohol brand. Supa Mega is no longer just pushing for a cheque from his deals but is digging deep for leverage which is on the same level as billionaire rapper Jay Z has been doing.
Just a year after AKA dropped his signature flavor with Cruz Vodka, the rapper has now gone on to collaborate with Reebok on the SneAKA which is set to drop on the 26th of October. The sneakers will have the name Supa Mega at the back and the box comes with his autograph.
AKA revealed that there will be a limited number of sneakers released on the first run with just 600 pairs going on sale. A fan recently asked Supa Mega on Twitter how much the kicks will cost after release and he revealed that they will cost around R1400 for each pair.
