Khuli Chana Discloses His Horrendous Near Death Experience & What He Learnt From It

Khuli Chana Discloses His Horrendous Near Death Experience & What He Leant From It. Coming close to death is by far one of the greatest fears people have. On an interview with The Plug Khuli Chana revealed what was his almost last call and what it taught him.

The Tswa Daar rapper made reference to his liking of Solo’s new album C.Plenty.Dreams. He said it drew him back to a time where he was reminded of the beauty that comes with valuing family. All this brought him to a time he almost died and the people who were around was the family he rarely spent time with when he was at the peak of his success.

“Right after I got shot I spent about a month with my mom, my daughter, my sisters, my cousin, and that was the longest time I’ve ever spent with them in years. And that’s what I took from the situation was just like…

“I’d become like a machine because I was so scared of losing it so much, because my fear was [that] I’ve seen guys hit the top, I know the ceiling in everyone’s career, and I wanted to outlast. And it took that situation.

“Next thing you know, I’m at home with my mom, my uncle and it hit me. You know how many weddings and christenings and funerals…? I was always that guy my family where it’s like ‘Aah, he’s working.’ To a point where it starts to kind of hurt you a bit when they don’t even holla at you, and they be like ‘Yo, we just thought you were working.’ And I got to appreciate that more, and exactly that. I had to totally relate to what Solo says,” he said.
