A lot of the female rappers have decided to collaborate rather than go head to head with each other. Nadia Nakai and Gigi Lamayne have had their differences in the past taking jabs at each other and have buried the hatchet and support each other now.
The SA Hip Hop Awards nominees list was revealed earlier today (29 October) and Nadia was nominated in the category for Best Female rapper alongside Gigi Lamayne. After the nominees were revealed, Gigi went on Twitter to support Nadia in the category acknowledging her moves in 2019.
“Please vote for @Nadia_nakai guys ! She freaking deserves this one,” tweeted Gigi. Nadia saw the tweet and thanked her friend Gigi for the support she was showing her.
