How YoungstaCPT Defended The Notion That SA Music Videos Lack Storylines

How YoungstaCPT Defended The Notion That SA Music Videos Lack Storylines. When watching SA music videos would you say they follow the same pattern of alcohol, pool parties and naked women?

A certain tweep by the name of Botshelo made a public opinion of how South African music videos lack storylines. The tweet reached the likes of Emtee and YoungstaCPT who shared their views.

Emtee reacted by saying “uyanya” to the tweep which translates to “you full of sh*”. Clearly he was against that there’s no storyline on any of the music videos he and other artists have made.

Newly awarded rapper Youngsta who took home two trophies last week of Best Hip Hop Album 2019 and Video Of The Year for YVR, proved the tweep wrong. He stated that the music video he won an award for told a story of Slavery and Colonialism in South Africa.

“I won an award for best video for a song called ‘YVR’ based on slavery & colonialism in South Africa without a single ass in sight so it’s safe to say we’re pushing our own narratives,” wrote the 3T star.

YoungstaCPT has always been adamant on telling real stories from his lyrics to his videos which proves his point of changing narrative.
