We have seen artists like K.O, Tshego, Nadia Nakai and The Big Hash drop some of the most interesting projects in the SA Music Industry. Now that the year is coming to an end we have seen artists Shane Eagle, AKA and DJ Sliqe announce their upcoming albums.
We have created a list of some of the most anticipated projects in SA Hip Hop this year from some of your favorite artists. Here’s a list of some of the rappers we expect to drop projects this year.
AKA: AKA is one of SA Hip Hop’s most treasured jewels and has made waves with all of his previously released projects and is now on the same train with a project he announced this year with features from various SA Hip Hop artists
Shane Eagle – Dark Moon Flwr: Shane has been one of the most impactful rappers with an organic followings in the music industry to bless SA Hip Hop. The rapper recently announced his upcoming debut mixtape to drop on 16 October.
DJ Sliqe – Injayam Vol 2: Dj Sliqe is back at it with his second instalment of the “Inja yam Vol” series set to drop on the 4th of October. It is no secret that he has some of the most iconic features in the game.
Nasty C: The Coolest Kid In Africa has been on a roll dropping snippets from his upcoming project. It is not yet clear if the rapper will be adding his Big Sean and T.I features on the project set to drop before the end of the year since he hasn’t revealed the track list.
Yanga: He recently revealed that his upcoming album “Becoming A Popstar” will be dropping on the 18th of October right after his birthday.
