Boity Explains The Challenges Presented By Doing Features! Boity entered the SA Hip Hop industry a little over a year ago and has been a force to reckon with.
She has proven her worth as an MC with the little music she has put out. with only 2 singles released under her own name, the rapper has been one of the most popular names in SA Hip Hop this past year. This is mainly because of the features she has done on other peoples songs.
It seems as though everytime that Boity is featured on a song, she finds herself on the trends list. She recently opened up about the difficulties she has faced with doing features and remixes while being interviewed on Slikour On Life at the Capsule Fest.
“You never know when the actual artist is gonna release and decide to release so you don’t know how to plan around you know, the features and remixes etc. You just have to trust that they will come out this year atleast. You know because also you don’t want to then release your own single and the next day Yanga is like ‘oh I’m releasing this as well’. Then it overshadows your work,” said Boity in the interview.
